We used a choice experiment to evaluate the preference of farmers for alternatives to poaching to guide conservation management actions
We used a Q methodology approach to identify and analyze the diverse perspectives different stakeholders held about Hawane Dam and Nature Reserve (HDNR) wetland ecosystem services (ESS), to guide conservation management actions
We used discrete choice experiments to explore the potential adoption of alternative agricultural systems. We analyse the heterogeneity of farmers’ preferences and heuristics of choices using a latent class model, where class can include different heuristics such as attribute non attendance, and elimination by aspect.
Project Participation/animation
Using Choice Experiment and Best Worst Scaling to identify farmers’ preferences
Using Experimental Economics, we intend to measure the impact of a development project on the social capital of communities targeted by technology development project
Using contingent behavior to anticipate farmers adaptation to climate change
Non-market valuation of wetland ecosystem services associate with the Hawane Wetland areas in Western Eswatini.
Using choice experiment and DCE to tailor technologies to farmer’s needs
Identifying South African farmers potential reactions to policy instruments designed to foster their adaptation to climate change
Identifying the diversity of perceptions about the relative importance of ecosystem services delivered by water-related ecosystems in the Olifants Basin in South Africa
